Altnua is a division of Alternus Energy Group plc, the international independent power producer with offices in Ireland, Poland, Romania, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and the US.
At Altnua, we specialise in site discovery and development of solar+storage projects. We find the most promising sites, progress them to ready-to-build status, and oversee construction. Our success is built on our long-term relationships with landowners, developers, and power off-takers.

Our Team
What makes Altnua truly special is our people. Our experience is unrivalled because our people have the stripes and scars to prove it. Since 2003, our people have been pioneering the way forward in the renewable energy industry, and we apply that knowledge to deliver time and time again.
Bill Sadlier
Chief Executive Officer
Bill is responsible for Altnua’s leadership, commercial activities, and its asset delivery plan. He brings 1.4 gigawatts (GW) of experience in renewable energy project development, project finance and private equity across Europe and the US. Bill is an accountant by training but a developer at heart, and guides Altnua’s developments with a passion for delivering renewable energy infrastructure.
Seán Manley
Chief Operating Officer
Seán is responsible for leading operational delivery of Altnua’s development portfolio. A Chartered Engineer with 20 years’ experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, he is passionate about delivering renewable energy projects safely and optimally. His experience includes providing operational management and technical advisory services on over 5GW of projects spanning onshore & offshore wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage.
Chloe LeBlanc
Development Director USA
Chloe is responsible for leading the development of Altnua’s US portfolio. She has been in the solar industry since the start of her career with expertise across several US markets supporting the development of 1GW of utility-scale solar facilities ranging from early, mid, and late-stage development. Chloe graduated from North Carolina State University with a BS in Environmental Technology & Management.
Kevin Lynch
GIS Manager
As the GIS Manager, Kevin sources, captures, maintains, and models all relevant topographical and demographic data to inform Altnua’s mapping of active markets. Using spatial algorithms, Kevin uses key market variables to identify the most suitable areas for project development. Prior to joining Altnua, Kevin was a GIS Manager in the utility and insurance sectors. He holds an MSc in Geographic Information Systems from Ulster University.
Bram Broshuis
Head of EU Business Development
Bram is responsible for European business development activity in Altnua. He is a multi-lingual networker and dealmaker focused on building relationships with developers across Altnua’s European markets.
Stefano Stavrogiannis
Development Director Italy
Stefano is responsible for Altnua development activities in Italy which includes greenfield development and coordination of local partner relations. With more than 20 years’ experience across renewables manufacturing, oil & gas, he is developing a pipeline of 450 MW across Italy.
James Power
Commercial Operations Manager
James is the Commercial Operations Manager responsible for the Financial Planning, Investment Appraisal and Route to Market strategy for Altnua’s portfolio. James also leads on M&A transactions for the business. After training in KPMG and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, James worked in Commercial roles for Irish utility ESB and as Financing and Investment Manager for solar developer BNRG before joining the Altnua team.
